The Architecture That Makes It Work

The harness isn't magic. It's engineering. Here's the architecture:

Context is assembled before inference, not during. When you trigger a task, the harness collects everything in parallel — screenshot, brain pages, skills, integration state, conversation history, user preferences — and packages it into a single request. The model receives a complete picture on the first token. No back-and-forth. No tool-call chains to figure out who you are.

Tools are exposed through MCP. Every capability — browser control, file I/O, 800+ app integrations, computer use, scheduling — is registered as a Model Context Protocol server. The agent discovers tools at runtime, not hardcoded. New integrations plug in without changing the core.

Subagents run in parallel. Complex tasks spawn specialized background agents — one for research, one for drafting, one for code review — each with their own context and tools. A parent agent coordinates. Three tasks run concurrently. You don't wait.

Skills are learned, not programmed. The system observes how you write emails, how you structure documents, how you respond to certain types of messages.
